WHAT IS URBAN LUMBER?

Urban lumber comes from trees that grew in cities, neighborhoods, and residential properties — not grown to be harvested for timber. These trees are often removed due to storm damage, disease, or development and most are disposed of as waste.

Urban salvage gives those trees a second life as usable hardwood lumber and live edge slabs instead of sending them to landfills, burn piles, or chippers.
